Fault in tanks is a common problem and even the most experienced vapers have had to deal with it at least once in their vaping lives. However, this does not make it acceptable, right?
We understand your pain and that is why we have decided to come up with this guide, that will not only help you identify some of the most common tank issues, but also show you how you can effortlessly get rid of them. In this article, you will also get to know some helpful maintenance and troubleshooting tips that will help you stay at the top of your vaping game. Are you ready? Let’s get started!
If you don’t already know, leakage is one of the most common problems when it comes to vape tanks. There are several reasons as to why your tank could leak. For instance, overfilling your tank can lead to leakage. Also, poorly screwed devices can leak. You will realize that it is not easy to determine the actual cause of the leakage until you do some troubleshooting:
- Proper assembly: As we have already mentioned, poorly screwed devices are bound to leak. It is critical that you take your time while assembling your device to ensure that you do a good job. Remember that you are doing this for yourself, so why the hurry?
- Check the O-rings and seals– The next thing that you should examine is the O-rings and the seals. Are they in good condition? Are they correctly placed? Please note that a missing or a cracked seal is not something you would want to experience! Take your time to examine all your seals to confirm that none of them is missing, loose or damaged. Why sacrifice your vaping session when you can have everything under control by repairing or replacing the damaged seals?
Also, don’t forget to examine your vape tank to confirm that it doesn’t have any cracks. Spotting any crack on the tube? Then it may be the time to replace your tank!
- No Enough Throat Hit
It is annoying not to get enough throat hit especially if it is the only reason you switched to vaping. However, this can be rectified and all you need to do is to check on your vaping oil for the PG/VG ratio. You might want to increase the PG level for a more excellent and perfect throat hit. If you are into nicotine, then selecting juices with more nicotine contents can significantly improve your experience. If you have tried everything and still no changes, then you might want to consider upgrading to a more advanced device. This way, you will be able to customize or personalize your vaping experience.
- Vapour production
Are you a cloud chaser? Then low vapour production should bother you. Low vapour production may be caused by any of the following two reasons; a) Some technical problems or b) Low VG concentration.
One of the most common technical issues is low battery capacity. The good news is that most of the advanced vaping devices come equipped with battery indicators. These indicators notify you when the battery needs to be recharged. If you are vaping and the vapour suddenly subsides, then it might be time to recharge your battery.
If that doesn’t work, examine your device to confirm that your atomizer is not flooded. Also, confirm whether the connection between the atomizer and the battery is perfectly done. Take your time and clean off any dust or grime that may have accumulated over time of usage.
- Malfunctioning battery
Does the battery keep cutting off? Very annoying, right? If that is the case, however, it is essential that you check to confirm that your battery is fully charged. It is also important that you use the right charger and carefully do all the connections. Something else you need to do is to ensure that your battery is clean. Examine the charging pot to ensure that it is free of any debris/particles. If you find any dried up liquid crud, it is important that you get rid of it. If you have done all this and your battery is still not working, then it may be the time you parted with some cash!
- Gurgling sounds
If your vaporizer keeps producing some gurgling sounds, then this could be an indication that there is too much liquid in the atomizer or you have overfilled your device. Well, this should not take away your sleep as all you have to do is to get rid of the excess oil or liquid, clean out the tank and you are set to go!
It is clear that some tank issues are easy to fix. However, there are some that need specialized skills and it is important that you have a trusted dealer or professional that you can always consult in case of a complicated problem.
All in all, your vaping experience is on your hands, get the best out of it by taking care of your vape tank!
